Character Parade Details

The parade will begin at 2:00 on Friday Oct.31. All classes should be lined up and ready to go at that time. Kindergarten will be leading the parade so they will be the first classes out the back door at the end of the First-Grade hallway closest to Mrs. Elias' classroom (see map above).

Kindergarten and Pre-K, you can use the cafeteria to line up - and walk down the left side of the back hallway to the exit.
First, Second, and downstairs Goal Classrooms, line up in the back hallway.
Third grade line up in your hallway heading out towards the flag hallway.
Fourth Grade utilize the front stairwell near third grade and follow them.
Fifth Grade use the back stairwell and as third moves down the hall, you can line up and wait for fourth grade.

We will all be parading down the middle of the bus loop with parents on the sidewalk. We will travel to the far side of the pavilion and along the fence towards coaches office. Then Pre-K, K, 1, and 2 will have a seat in the pavilion so we can watch 3,4,5 walk by and head back into the building. Any non-participating kiddos can sit at the picnic table outside of the art room. We will have sign-out sheets for classrooms so parents can take kiddos right after the parade, just remember to bring them with you.

Reminders and Looking Ahead

Observations

Dates and times are filling up quickly! All NET teachers should already be scheduled for your first observation, and everyone needs one formal observation in iObservation prior to leaving for winter break. As a reminder, if you are planning a specific lesson - Mrs. Elek and I can do a "Walk-Through" to score you on specific elements; you do not need to have a Pre or Post for that; however, giving us a heads-up regarding what we are looking for is helpful. Please get with Mrs. Van to get onto our calendars.
