November Word Of The Month: Gratitude

As part of our school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) initiatives, we're excited to focus on the word Gratitude throughout the month of November.
Our Core Team will be visiting classrooms to lead engaging lessons and discussions that help students recognize and express thankfulness in everyday moments - for their friends, families, teachers, and school community.
We encourage families to join us in reinforcing this important value at home by taking time each day to share something you're grateful for. Together, we can build a culture of kindness and appreciation all month long.

Exciting News:

Our school has been selected to pilot the L.E.A.D. Program

We are proud to announce that our school has been chosen as one of three elementary schools to pilot the program L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence).
This engaging new initiative will be offered to our 5th graders and is built around the "Too Good" curriculum - a program designed to help students build confidence, develop strong interpersonal skills, and make healthy, responsible choices. Our SRO DFC Kevin Montgomery will be doing these lessons with students twice a month during their Specials time. The program consists of a total of 10 lessons in all.
Through fun interactive lessons, students will strengthen their sense of self-efficacy and learn strategies that promote positive decision-making and lifelong success. We're thrilled to partner with our local law enforcement and community members to help our student's grow into happy, healthy, and resilient young leaders!

Picture Retake Day is Coming!

Say Cheese....Again!

November 6, 2025
Did your kiddo miss Picture Day? Are they new to Meadow Park? Or maybe their first photo didn't quite capture their award-winning smile (we've all been there - sometimes the camera just blinks at the wrong time!)
Picture retake day is coming up this Thursday November 6th. This opportunity is for students who:
  • Were absent on the original picture day
  • Are new to Meadow Park, or
  • Would like a do-over because they're not thrilled with their first picture.
Students who were absent on Picture Day and new students to Meadow Park will automatically have their picture taken. If your student wants a retake, they'll need to return their fall picture package, which already came home, to the photographer in order to have a new photo taken.
Let's make every smile picture-perfect this time around!
