WELCOME BACK!

Our teachers have returned and are hard at work setting up their learning environments to welcome their students on August 11th for the first day of school!

Open House

Wednesday, Aug. 6 @ 4-6pm

Open House flyer for Wed. night 4-6
We can't wait to welcome our gators back into the building on Wednesday afternoon from 4-6pm. Parking is always a challenge at big school events, so please carpool if you can. Stop by any time between 4 and 6, meet your teacher, drop off your supplies, tour the campus, shop for spirit wear, and much more.

Who is my Child's Teacher?

Teachers will be reaching out to families tomorrow to introduce themselves. Please check Parent Square or your email to receive those welcome letters. All our teachers are amazing, and I know your child is going to have a great year. We spend a lot of time making class rosters to make sure classes are balanced and students' needs will be met. Because of this, we won't be taking requests for any class changes for the first quarter. We appreciate you being supportive of our staff and starting the year off on a positive note.

Kindergarten Staggered Start

When is the first day?

Since school is new to many of our kindergarten friends, we do a staggered start for them. Please see the flyer below with an explanation.

Parent Pick Up

Getting our students into the building and home in the afternoon safely are our top priorities during the first week. This can only happen if all the adults work together. Please see the maps below outlining our Parent Drop Off and Pick Up procedures. Everyone gets dropped off in the front of the building. Occasionally we will open the back from more drop offs, but only after all our buses have arrived and dropped off. Please do not pull into the bus loop unless a staff member waves you in. In the afternoon, we dismiss our K-2 students from the front and our 3-5 students from the back. All siblings will be in the section of the youngest students in the car.

The first few days always run a little longer, but once we are up and running I promise both lines will run smoothly. Please plan ahead for delays for the first few days, and be kind to our staff who are working extra hard to make sure our students are safe.

Independence Day for our Gators!

We work so hard all year to teach our gators about safety and responsibility. We practice procedures and build their confidence so they can make their way around campus easily. This starts on Day 1. For this reason, we only allow Kindergarten parents to walk their little ones to class on the first day. All 1st-5th graders will need to enter the building and walk to breakfast or class on their own. Don't worry, we have TONS of adults and 5th grade patrols in the hallways to offer assistance and make sure everyone gets to where they need to be. If you're concerned, use Open House to practice with your student. Make sure they know their first and last name as well as their teachers name. Please also remember to have them wear their ID lanyard every day. This helps us to easily identify our gators - especially if they're new. Thanks so much for helping them practice their independence!
