Hello! Our school will soon be administering the FAST State Assessment. These assessments, required by state and federal law, are an important tool that helps us and you understand your child’s academic progress and ensure they're on track for future success.

State tests are designed to measure whether students have mastered the academic skills and knowledge expected for their grade level.

Here are a few simple ways you can help your child prepare for the tests:

• Ensure they get a good night's sleep before each testing day.
• Make sure they eat a healthy breakfast on testing mornings. 🍎
• Encourage them to do their best and remind them that the test is just one way of measuring what they know.

Parent/Guardian letters are attached for all grade levels - K-2 and 3-5.
