Peek at the Week

September 7th, 2025

We have had a great first month of school! Our students and teachers are working hard at getting to know each other and practicing the rules and routines for our school and their classrooms. Most students have completed their beginning of the year state assessments, but a few may be finishing make up tests this week. We are up and running with our curriculum, so remember to ask students what they are learning each day. Talk to them about the books they are reading, or ask if they need help with any parts of their homework. We appreciate the support our families show at home.

What's Going on this Week?

Early Release Day

Coming up Wednesday

Early Release Day

4 times a year, our district has Early Release Days where students are dismissed 2 hours early so staff can participate in high quality professional learning. This Wednesday, our students will be dismissed at 12:50. Please make sure you have arrangements to get your child off their bus or pick them up from school 2 hours early on Wednesday. If your child is currently enrolled in our iSTAY after care program, they will be allowed to stay immediately after school. There are 3 more early release days throughout the year, so mark your calendars.

PTO Fundraiser

Sept. 9th - Sept. 19th

A fundraising voucher with cartoon characters and text promoting a school program.
Your child should have come home last week with the order form for our annual fundraiser. Students can earn prizes for each step of the program. The energy was buzzing through the halls last week. It was so fun to see them start collecting their coops. Registering online is super easy and allows customers to shop without you having to take orders or collect money. Just by registering, students can earn their first prize.

This fundraiser helps our PTO establish their budget for the year to help pay for things like student supplies, field trip buses, beautification projects for our school, surprise lunches or treats for our staff, help funds our clothes closet, and all sorts of other things. We appreciate your support to help make this fundraiser a success.
