End of Year (EOY) Testing

All our students will be taking their end-of-year assessments over the next two weeks. These computer-based tests in reading and math are a vital part of the academic calendar, serving as the final look at how much our students have grown this year.
Why These Assessments Matter
These tests provide a comprehensive summary of student achievement relative to grade-level standards. They help us:
  • Measure Growth: See exactly how far each student has come since the beginning of the year.
  • Evaluate Mastery: Identify which key concepts have been mastered and which may need continued focus in the future.
  • Celebrate Success: Recognize the hard work students and teachers have put in over the last several months.

How can you help at home?
We want every student to feel confident and prepared to show what they know. You can support your child by:
  1. Encouraging Best Effort: Remind your child to take their time and try their best so we have an accurate picture of their academic journey.
  2. Maintaining Routine: Ensure they get plenty of rest and a nutritious breakfast on testing days to help them stay focused.
  3. Celebrating Results: When you receive the scores, take a moment to celebrate their progress and reflect on everything they’ve accomplished this school year.

Thank you for being such an important partner in your child's education. Let's finish the year strong!

Thanks For Joining Us!

We've had so many fun events this past week. Thank you to all our families that joined us at the Farmer's Market, for Dip and Paint, Family Field Day, and our Girls on the Run 5K. These events are so fun, and we love seeing our families together. We have one more event for our Suncoast Remake Learning Days. We'll see you this Friday for our Art in the Dark Glow Party.

Staff Appreciation Week

Time to thank our ALL STAR staff

April 27 - May 01, 2026

Staff Appreciation Week – Celebrating the Heart of Our School
This week we are celebrating Staff Appreciation Week! Our school runs because of the incredible team that supports our students each day — teachers, support staff, office staff, custodians, cafeteria team members, paraprofessionals, and so many others who work together to make our school a welcoming place for learning and growth.
We are grateful for the dedication, patience, and care our staff show to students every single day. If your family would like to participate in helping us celebrate them, here are a few simple ways students can show appreciation:
  • Write a thank-you note or draw a picture for a staff member who makes a difference in your day.
  • Pick a flower or create a handmade card at home.
  • Share kind words and thank a staff member for helping you learn and grow.
  • Show your best effort and kindness at school — that’s one of the greatest gifts our staff can receive!

Friday Sweet Treat Day
We will end the week with a Sweet Treat Day for our staff on Friday. Families who would like to contribute are welcome to send in individually wrapped desserts or snacks such as cookies, brownies, chocolates, or other small treats.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the incredible staff members who make Meadow Park Elementary such a special place for students every day!
